What You'll Actually Need to Get Started
Look, we're not here to sell you on expensive gear. Budget deviation analysis doesn't require fancy equipment — just a reliable setup and genuine curiosity about where your money goes. Here's what makes our program accessible.
Equipment That Won't Break the Bank
Students sometimes worry they need the latest tech to join. That's not our style. Most participants use devices they already own. We've had people succeed on five-year-old laptops.
Computer Basics
Any desktop or laptop from the last six years works fine. Windows 10 or macOS 10.14 onwards. Even budget Chromebooks handle our spreadsheet tools.
Minimum 4GB RAM (8GB preferred for smoother multitasking). 100GB free storage for course materials and practice files. Dual-core processor — nothing fancy needed.
Internet Connection
Standard home broadband suffices. We designed the program knowing Bangkok traffic sometimes means you're studying from cafes with spotty connections.
5 Mbps minimum for video lessons (they're downloadable too). Video sessions run smoothly at 10 Mbps. Mobile hotspots work when you need flexibility.
Software You'll Use
Google Sheets covers 90% of what we teach. Free. Cloud-based. Accessible anywhere. Microsoft Excel works great if you prefer it or already own it.
PDF reader for course materials (free options abound). Modern web browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge all work. Optional: accounting software trials we'll introduce later.
Audio Setup
Built-in speakers and microphone handle most situations. Headphones help during group sessions if you're in a noisy environment. Nothing professional required.
Smartphone earbuds work perfectly. USB headsets add clarity for around 500 baht. We care more about your participation than pristine audio quality.

Plernpis Wattanasin
Program Coordinator
"Half our September 2024 cohort started with five-year-old laptops. Technical specs matter way less than showing up consistently."

Duangrat Somchai
Technical Support Lead
"I help people troubleshoot before courses start. Most 'tech problems' resolve in under ten minutes. We're here to help, not judge."
